H. S. Tennent 1936 Reprint Map:
 
In 1933, the Oklahoma Legislature appointed the State Highway Commission to survey and research the location of the Western Cattle Trail and the Chisholm Cattle Trail in Oklahoma. Under the direction of H. S. Tennent, two maps were created and printed in 1936. This two-sided map (Western Cattle Trail on one side and the Chisholm Trail on the other) measures 9 1/2" x 37". Each cattle trail is presented in detail within township sections, based on Tennent’s survey.
