This book extends the narrative from Book #1 and encompasses the history and various routes used in the entire life of the trail system through nine states. The Kraisingers explain the collapse of 1886 and how the Texas drovers revived the cattle-driving industry to become one that seeded the northern territories with beef cattle. The book is beautifully illustrated by the late Robby McMurtry.
