This map (24” x 36”) displays the five Western Cattle Trail routes, from south to north, across western Kansas. As the Kansas Legislature moved the cattle quarantine deadline west, Texas drovers adjusted by creating another cattle trail farther west.
Route #2 (1876-1882) is highlighted with sectional squares.
